The Pisces Man:

Pisces is the natural ruler of the 12th house, and is ruled by the planet Neptune. Piscean energy is dreamy, mysterious, private, and secretive. Q: Are horoscope readings by phone a good idea? Are they worth paying for... or am I better off sticking to the free newspaper or magazine horoscopes that I can find EVERYWHERE online or off? Is a personal horoscope more accurate? And if so... WHY so?

During Saturn's transit of Libra we saw issues concerning the people, justice and fairness. There were uprisings in Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Libya, Greece... governments were overthrown and there were revisions to employment laws.

During Saturn in Scorpio, we'll see a huge focus on taxes: how much to pay, who should pay it, what is fair and what is not. Governments will want to change the tax structures completely in the name of fairness but there are likely to be hidden agendas. Saturn in Scorpio tends to favour a conservative position, so it's likely there will be more cuts to public services.

Scorpio rules sex so you can expect to see issues coming up around sex and sexuality. There will be more sex offenders out on the streets committing obscene acts, and because of the reduction of police numbers due to drastic cost cutting measures, there will not be enough supervision and follow up. We will have to find ways of protecting ourselves by looking after one another in smaller groups and in our communities. We will have to take much more responsibility for our lives and not rely on the government looking after us in the way many of us have grown accustomed. We'll see changes in the laws for pornography and prostitution, more sex scandals and gender issues.

Scorpio rules the sexual organs, so there will be issues around fertility, cloning, creating life from the unseen and more "designer babies."

Saturn in Scorpio may put corrupt people in a position of authority and as Saturn is in mutual reception with Pluto, which means that Saturn is in Pluto's sign and Pluto is in Saturn's sign, you can expect to see issues around the police force and how law and order is maintained. With the numbers of police being drastically cut back it will be once again up to us to police them before they police us.

There will be lots of desperate people out there who will look for short cuts in order to survive. When people have lost everything they take desperate measures because they feel they have nothing to lose. They will justify stealing and looting other peoples' property. You can expect taxes to increase as governments desperately try to repay their escalating debts. Uranus rules the internet and Capricorn rules government and we'll see governments trying to regulate and impose taxes and limit our freedoms on the internet.

During this transit it is likely that the global debt situation will escalate and grow exponentially. Banks and financial institutions will continue to have problems and the abuse of other peoples' money will come to light. There will be a demand for accountability. There will be more fraud than ever before: extensive money laundering, insurance fraud, bank fraud, government fraud. There will be many fraud cases connected with insurance companies, bankruptcies and the inability to pay out in case of disaster. Premiums will continue to rise, there will be new schemes and the fall of some big names in the industry as well as some mergers. On a personal level, try to pay off any debts you have as soon as you possibly can and try not to run up big credit card bills that you are unable to pay off on a monthly basis.

With the overlay of Pluto square to Uranus during this transit, we will see extremes in everything around us. There will be those who accumulate great wealth and those who lose everything. Financial tensions worldwide will deepen with the greater manipulation of the markets, debts ballooning out of control and QE to infinity confirmed.

We'll see a flare up of anti-immigration sentiment as illegal refugees fleeing war-torn and impoverished nations flood into Europe seeking jobs and security. With many European economies already severely depressed with scarce employment opportunities, the asylum seekers will be blamed for increases in crime and drugs and for the social services, health and welfare systems that are already beyond bursting point.

It will become much more difficult to protect your privacy and you can expect new laws in this area to be introduced. There will be more invasive measures and it will be harder to protect your identity. Think very carefully before you give any personal information to anyone as it could have very serious consequences down the line.

Death and dying come under Scorpio's domain and we will see changes in the laws concerning death: euthanasia, abortion, the abolishment or changes to the death penalty, care of the elderly, new anti-aging studies and products.

Scorpio rules psychotherapy, mental power, the ability to think deeply and to understand the mysteries of the world. Our Moon-sign is a very fundamental aspect of our character. It describes our instinctive approach to life, our innate way of being and our mode of emotional response. If you have a very different Moon-sign from those around you it can feel isolating and lonely, as though no-one understands you. Taking the time to consider your own needs and how they may differ from those close to you can be an illuminating process. Once you understand the inner workings of your partner, children, parents, friends and colleagues, you may be able to improve your relationships, bolstered by an enriched appreciation of the innate differences of other people from yourself.

There is something very comforting about being around someone whose Moon-sign is innately compatible with yours. Whilst this does not mean you cannot get along with others with very different Moon-energy, if you can construct your life so you have at least some significant others with a similar Moon dynamic, you will increase your overall sense of being understood and nurtured by life and the universe.

One basic rule we might start with is that the Moon in each element is compatible with other people who also have the Moon in that element. For example a Moon in Aries has some innate affinity with others with the Moon in fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius). This gives us four basic groups of compatibility: the others being the Moon in air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius), the Moon in earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) and the Moon in water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). But even with these basic 'element' affinities we have to be careful. The Moon in Aries and Leo for example are full of energy and drama, and so two Moon in Aries or a Moon in Aries with a Moon in Leo could represent a clash of egos, with each wanting to take centre stage or be first and best, leading to overall disharmony. Sometimes therefore, despite the innate commonality of the element, it can be helpful to look outside one's element group.

The opposing sign to your Moon-sign can be quite attractive as signs in opposition often have much in common, underneath the obvious surface tension. This however can work better for some pairs than others. For example the Moon in Taurus might get along quite well with Moon in Scorpio, both being strongly fixed and focused on the physical/sexual components of a relationship. Yet Moon in Aries and Moon in Libra are likely to struggle, one taking charge whilst the other gives in and suffers at the hands of unrefined responses and tempestuous scenes.

To some extent the 'rules' of compatibility, in my opinion, have to go right down to each sign. Take the Moon in Aquarius for example, a sign of great detachment and cool logic, denoting someone who is instinctively prone to independence of mind and action and to concern for the wider human family. A Moon in Cancer or Moon in Leo, deeply focused on their subjective responses to life and both highly emotional albeit in slightly different ways, are likely to be quite unfathomable to cerebral Moon in Aquarius. The other air signs will be good matches, as would the Moon in Sagittarius, who understands the need for freedom and a broad vision of life. The Moon in Virgo, with its immense intelligence and rationality, might also fit well yet Moon in Taurus may just be too earthy and concerned with practical matters. The Moon in Scorpio, with its hidden motivations and secret brooding may be a frustration, and the Moon in Pisces too disordered, although Moon in Aquarius may enjoy its universal focus. The Moon in Capricorn could also prove an interesting partner, equally detached in emotional matters but much more pragmatic than the abstract thoughts that swirl in Moon in Aquarius' progressive world.

Each Moon-sign has its own slightly different need in a relationship, and some may stand more variety than others! Ultimately, if we are all aware of whom we really are, we should in theory be able to get along with anyone. Life however, is not always so ideal...

The issue of Venus-sign compatibility can be important for relationships. If two people fundamentally disagree on the style of a relationship, how it is going to operate, then it is unlikely that the relationship will be able to last beyond the initial attraction period. Whilst it is never the case that you cannot be with someone with a very different Venus sign, it is worth understanding where they are coming from so that you can ensure both sets of needs are met in the partnership.

If you have the same Venus sign as your prospective partner then you will immediately have similar views on how to conduct the relationship. We will not therefore consider Venus in Aries with Venus in Aries or Venus in Leo with Venus in Leo, for example. In this article we will consider a selection of Venus-sign combinations.

Venus in Aries, Venus in Gemini

Here we have two Venus signs who enjoy a stimulating relationship. Both are prepared to entertain an adventurous streak in the connection, and even if Venus in Gemini won't actually take the action, it is prepared to talk about it! There could be good compatibility here.
